Tonight in Chelan, it’s the Memorial Day Parade honoring soldiers, police officers, and first responders who lost their lives in the line of duty, as well as those who have served and are currently serving our country.

Chelan PUD is hosting Kids Fest at Walla Walla Point Park on Saturday.

The Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market is back for the season, open every Saturday between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Join the ladies of Wenatchee Family Fitness on Saturday for Moms’ Night Out.

It’s opening weekend at Slidewaters in Chelan!

Ohme Gardens is open for the season. This year you can check out FREE passes to the gardens from Wenatchee Public Library. Really… free!

Pybus Market will host a Memorial Day Flag Ceremony on Monday at noon. This moving and somber ceremony will include a Convocation, and a short history of Memorial Day. “Taps” will be played, and an Honor Guard will conduct the Firing of Three Volleys to Honor the Fallen.

Stage Kids is bringing “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” to the Numerica PAC beginning next Wednesday.

Family Game Night returns to Pybus next Friday.

The Mini Maker Faire happens next Saturday, June 1, at the Town Toyota Center.

The Leavenworth Spring Wine Walk is June 1.

June 1 is Aviation Day at Pangborn Memorial Airport. There will be lots of aircraft on display, including The Spirit of Wenatchee’s Miss Veedol and a B-25, plus helicopter rides, Cessna airplane rides, free drawings and free kids activities!

The AppleSox home opener is June 5!

On June 7, Ohme Gardens is hosting a screening of “Monsters University.”

The Greater Wenatchee Toy Show returns to the Wenatchee Convention Center on Saturday, June 8. Fun for the whole family!

The annual Wenatchee Pride Festival is coming up on June 15 at Lincoln Park. It’s a family-friendly event with something for everyone, with a children’s play area. There will also be music, games, art, food and a beer and wine garden.

Also on June 15, Perri the Poetry Fairy will visit the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. She’ll entertain children ages 4-10 with silly poems, funny poems, story poems, limericks and more, and she’ll help the kids do a fun craft project, too!

The fourth annual Father’s Day Weekend Ale Trail in Downtown Wenatchee happens Saturday, June 15.

Story times for children of all ages at the Wenatchee Public Library.

Get the whole family moving with Kids Yoga classes.

Catholic Family and Child Service hosts several play-and-learn events each week for children up to age 5 and their caregivers. The Kaleidoscope Play and Learn group meets Wednesdays at the First Methodist Church at 10 a.m., Thursdays at the Wenatchee Public Library at 10 a.m., and Fridays at the Hope Center at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The play sessions are free and no registration is required. The Wenatchee Mother-Baby Support Group at the Wenatchee Public Library meets from 1-2:30 p.m. Mondays.

Indoor Park Play Time at Apple Valley Gymnastics, 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and 8:30-10 a.m. Saturdays.

For kids 6 and younger, head to the play gym at Sport Gymnastics, open Tuesdays through Saturdays.

You’ll find a hands-on children’s activity and craft room upstairs at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. Kids and their grown-ups get in free and it’s open during regular museum hours.

The Wenatchee Valley Mall Kids Club gets together for adventures the third Saturday of every month.

Bring the whole family out for RunWenatchee’s club run/walks on the Loop Trail every Thursday evening.
