Happy Friday! What’s everybody up to this weekend? Need a few suggestions? Read on for a list of fun local events:

LeAnn Rimes is coming to the Town Toyota Center tonight.

Stage Kids performs “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.” at the Numerica PAC through Sunday. Tickets are $13-20 tickets in advance and $15-22 tickets at the door.

The Leavenworth Christmas Lighting Festival happens tonight, Saturday and Sunday, then again on Dec. 7-9. Dec. 14-16.

Christmas Family Fun Day at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center is this Saturday.

Santa is coming to Firehouse Pet Shop and Grooming on Saturday.

The Lake Wenatchee Fire & Rescue Pancake Breakfast, Bake Sale, Raffle, Bazaar and Santa Visit happens on Saturday. Santa Claus arrives by firetruck at 11:30 a.m.

Also on Saturday, it’s the annual Christmas in Cashmere community event.

Santa will arrive at Pybus Public Market (in a bright red helicopter!) on Sunday.

Also on Sunday, it’s the 7th Annual Wenatchee Valley Empty Bowls Painting Party at Pybus. The event raises funds for the NCW Food Distribution Center and awareness about hunger in out community. It includes a community bowl painting party at Pybus, as well as a soup dinner in the spring.

Tuesday at the Cashmere Library, it’s a Kids’ Painting Class.

Tickets are on sale NOW for “PJ MASKS LIVE” at the Town Toyota Center on Feb. 14. Don’t wait! This one is going to be super popular!

Looking ahead:

The Numerica Wings ‘N Wishes Christmas Tree Lighting begins at 6 p.m. next Thursday. There will be live reindeer, Christmas caroling, cookies, cocoa and, of course, Santa!

Next Friday, SPORT GYMNASTICS is hosting a Parents’ Night Out from 6-10 p.m. It’s for kids ages 4-10.

Next Saturday, stop by the LocalTel Event Room at Pybus for a FREE morning of family-friendly activities, hosted by Sage Hills Church.

On Sunday, Dec. 9, bring the kids to Pybus for a gingerbread house factory.

Bring the kids for Breakfast With Santa at the Wenatchee Valley Mall on Dec. 15.

Every Week:

The indoor playground at Pybus is open for the season. It’s a warm place full of toys for toddlers to play with during the cold months. With a few exceptions, the play area will be open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-noon each week through March.

Story times for children of all ages at the Wenatchee Public Library.

The Wenatchee YMCA offers Toddler Time Thursdays, open gym for little ones every Thursdays from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

The Wenatche YMCA offers Parent/Tot Water Fitness classes every Friday at noon.

Get the whole family moving with Kids Yoga classes.

Catholic Family and Child Service hosts several play-and-learn events each week for children up to age 5 and their caregivers. The Kaleidoscope Play and Learn group meets Wednesdays at the First Methodist Church at 10 a.m., Thursdays at the Wenatchee Public Library at 10 a.m., and Fridays at the Hope Center at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The play sessions are free and no registration is required. The Wenatchee Mother-Baby Support Group at the Wenatchee Public Library meets from 1-2:30 p.m. Mondays.

Indoor Park Play Time at Apple Valley Gymnastics, 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and 8:30-10 a.m. Saturdays.

For kids 6 and younger, head to the play gym at Sport Gymnastics, open Tuesdays through Saturdays.

You’ll find a hands-on children’s activity and craft room upstairs at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. Kids and their grown-ups get in free and it’s open during regular museum hours.

The Wenatchee Valley Mall Kids Club gets together for adventures the third Saturday of every month.

Bring the whole family out for RunWenatchee’s club run/walks on the Loop Trail every Thursday evening.
