Happy Thursday! Can you believe Thanksgiving is in just ONE WEEK?? Crazy, right? If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend and beyond, read on for our weekly list of local events:

The Numerica Festival of Trees starts TODAY and runs through the weekend. (The Little Black Dress Party is Friday.)

Holiday Spice — everyone’s favorite song-and-dance revue starring your friends and neighbors — returns to the PAC this Friday and Saturday.

Pybus hosts free live music events every Friday evening. This Friday, it’s Nic Allen.

The Pybus Market Holiday Artisan Fair is this Saturday.

Saturday at the Wenatchee Valley Museum, local actor Jacob Scott will read the book “My Mouth Is A Volcano!” It’s the museum’s Different Kind of Story Time, always a lively, fun and FREE event for the little ones.

Santa starts showing up at the Wenatchee Valley Mall for photos on Saturday. He’ll be there through Christmas Eve. (The big man will attend a breakfast celebration on Saturday, Dec. 16, and will be available for photos with pets on Sunday, Dec. 17.)

The WHS musical: “The Little Mermaid” continues at the high school auditorium through Saturday.

On Monday, Mannheim Steamroller will perform at the TTC. The perfect holiday concert!

The Wenatchee Wild are back home at the Town Toyota Center on Wednesday.

The popular Indoor Playground for toddlers and their parents is up and running again at Pybus Public Market. This program is a cooperative effort of Pybus and the Wenatchee Parks and Recreation Department – cost is $1.25 per child, or just $1 for Wenatchee City residents. It is a great way to get take the little ones to the Park on those mornings when it is too cold to be outside.

Looking ahead:

Coming up next Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Leavenworth: It’s Christkindlemarkt, an Annual Bavarian-style Christmas Market for the whole family!

Next Friday, Nov. 24, it’s the Holiday Lighting Ceremony at Pybus Public Market.

Next Saturday, Nov. 25, it’s the annual Sip and Shop event at Mountain Springs Lodge in Plain.

Have fun learning how to code with programmable rolling robots during SPHERO Week at the Cashmere Public Library, Nov. 27, 28 and 30. For ages 8-16.

On Nov. 30, it’s The Price Is Right Live! at the TTC.

Stage Kids presents everyone’s favorite Christmas classic, Bah Humbug!. See Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the three Christmas spirits sing, dance and light up the stage at the Numerical Performing Arts Center November 30 – December 2Click here for tickets.

The Leavenworth Christmas Lighting Festival happens Dec. 1-3, 8-10, and 15-17.

Christmas Family Fun Day at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center is Saturday, Dec. 2.

Santa will arrive at Pybus Public Market (in a bright red helicopter!) on Dec. 3.

WHS DECA is hosting a Father-Daughter Dance on Friday, Dec. 8. The night will include games, photos, dancing, face painting and more. This year’s theme is “A Winter Wonderland”, so be sure to dress for the weather! All elementary-aged (and younger) girls are welcome to attend.

Every Week:

The Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market is open (and indoors) Saturdays at Pybus Public Market.

Catholic Family and Child Service hosts several play-and-learn events each week for children up to age 5 and their caregivers. The Kaleidoscope Play and Learn group meets Wednesdays at the First Methodist Church at 10 a.m., Thursdays at the Wenatchee Public Library at 10 a.m., and Fridays at the Hope Center at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The play sessions are free and no registration is required. The Wenatchee Mother-Baby Support Group at the Wenatchee Public Library meets from 1-2:30 p.m. Mondays. And there’s a Toddler Group, too! The toddler group meets Mondays at noon at the library. This play-time focuses on movement, exploration, and learning to play together. It’s also a time for parents to visit, connect, and find ongoing support.

Indoor Park Play Time at Apple Valley Gymnastics, 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and 8:30-10 a.m. Saturdays.

For kids 6 and younger, head to the play gym at Sport Gymnastics, open Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Story times at the Wenatchee Public Library. (Preschool Story Time: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.; Bilingual Story Time: Mondays at 6 p.m..; Pajama Story Time: Tuesdays at 7 p.m.; Baby/Toddler Story Time: Fridays at 10 a.m.; NEW Family Story Time: Saturdays at 11 a.m.)

You’ll find a hands-on children’s activity and craft room upstairs at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. Kids and their grown-ups get in free and it’s open during regular museum hours.

The Wenatchee Valley Mall Kids Club gets together for adventures the third Saturday of every month.

Bring the whole family out for RunWenatchee’s club run/walks on the Loop Trail every Thursday evening. (Club run check-ins have moved to Pybus.)
