What are you up to this weekend? I know a few moms who are taking their kids to the museum’s family fun day on Saturday. And then there’s the lighting ceremony up in Leavenworth. My family and I are going to snuggle up at home tomorrow, listen to Christmas music and just generally enjoy the calm before the holiday storm. The Crock Pot will be humming.

Thank you so much for joining us this first week on the blog. It’s been a lot of fun! We’ll see you back here on Monday morning. In the meantime, here are a few links we liked from around the web:

This dad made us laugh.

Know someone who is expecting? Stylish and sweet baby gifts made by a local mom are at Merriment tonight.

One grumpy toddler.

Daniel Radcliffe’s original “Harry Potter” audition tape is adorable.

Elf on the Shelf inspiration.

Have you guys been watching Aziz Ansari’s Netflix series, “Master of None”? It is great for about a million reasons, including this lovable cast of characters.
