A hands-on environmental workshop that introduces children to the outdoors and responsible recreation will be held Tuesday at Wenatchee Public Library. The free Leave No Trace event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. It will include interactive instruction and activities and information on how to become a Leave No Trace steward. Since 1999, Subaru of America and the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics have teamed up each summer to teach skills and techniques to reduce the impact of outdoor activities on the environment. For more information, please contact Kim Neher at 663-1117, ext. 1117 or kneher@ncrl.org.

Next Thursday, come learn about essential oils while supporting TEAMS Learning Center.
