Rhea Lana’s of Wenatchee is coming, and that’s big news for parents who appreciate cute clothes at seriously low prices.
April 9-13, the retail space at 212 5th Street (which is annually home to My Girlfriend’s Closet and the Halloween store) will be filled with kids clothes, shoes, toys and more. It’s the very FIRST Rhea Lana’s event in Wenatchee, and it’s part of a huge national consignment model. Here’s the full schedule. And here’s some more background about the event from local organizer Heidi Gales:
I am the owner of the Moses Lake and Wenatchee Rhea Lana’s. I live in Moses Lake and am married with five kids. I started volunteering at the Moses Lake Rhea Lana’s and eventually bought it from the previous owner. Rhea Lana’s is a franchise with 80-90 franchises across the states. It was started by a mom in her living room in Arkansas. There are two events a year — one in the spring and one in the fall. The Moses Lake Rhea Lana’s has been doubling in size each event and is currently held at the Grant County Fairgrounds (April 2-5). Rhea Lana events sell infant through teen clothing, shoes, books, toys, baby gear, maternity and so much more!
Some benefits of being a consignor:
You get to pick your own prices.
You get 70% of what your items sell for.
Your items are guaranteed (we pay for it if it gets lost).
You can watch your sale live online
You get a check at the end of the event.
My absolute favorite part of the Rhea Lana event is the donation time! We love to give back to our community! We’ll organize our donations and then let foster families, foster family organizations, and pregnancy clinics “shop” for what they need. It’s wonderful to bless so many needy families through our generous consignors.
