What are you all up to this weekend? Saturday night is date night in my house. Woo who! My husband and I are going to the Wenatchee Wine and Food Festival. It’s always a great time, but apparently tickets have been selling like crazy this year, so I’m expecting a big, fun crowd at the Town Toyota Center. And wine. Lots of wine.
Whatever you all do this weekend, here’s hoping you get to spend time with the people you love. And here are some fun links from about the web:
There’s a new clothing boutique opening TODAY on Wenatchee Avenue. We can’t wait to check it out!
A DIY face cream from a Malaga homesteader and blogger.

And for all of you mamas sending your kids off to ANY OTHER GRADE.
How much homework is too much?
There’s a neat new exhibit about Native American salmon fishing opening at the Cashmere Museum.
Did you have a blankie as a kid? Does your own child have one?
I finally see you, Mom. “I’m 31 and I still want to go running to you sometimes.”
This new movie with Taraji P. Henson and Octavia Spencer looks so good!
An interesting podcast episode about the world of breast milk markets.
