Get a sitter… The Wenatchee Wine and Food Festival returns to the Town Toyota Center on Saturday night. The price of admission gets you wines from all the very best local wineries, local craft beers, and decadent foods prepared by NCW’s top chefs. I’ll be there (probably making totally awkward Facebook Live videos for The World). Are you coming? Say hi!
The NCW Fair in Waterville opens today and runs through Sunday. (The Chelan County Fair begins September 8.)
Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of Shakespeare in the meadow. Icicle Creek Center for the Arts in Leavenworth presents “Much Ado About Nothing” tonight, Friday and Saturday at the Meadow Stage.

The Downtown Summer Concert Series wraps up Friday evening with a concert by local favorite Michael Carlos and his band. This concert series is very kid-friendly.
Bring the kids down to Pybus on Saturday for Zucchini Races. They’ll have the chance to create, decorate and race their veggies against other kids.
We’re heading into the final weekend of Leavenworth Summer Theater shows. You still have time to catch “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” (tonight), “Singin’ in the Rain” (Friday) and “The Sound of Music” (Saturday and Sunday).

The library’s traveling Bookmobile is parked in the west parking lot of Pybus Market every Saturday from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. through August.
